A couple of decades ago, the following names dominated the news and party waves of the Lagos society of the big spenders like Sanje (Sanjay) Wasiu Olohuntoyin, Muyiwa Bashorun aka Bill Gates of Africa aka Borokini of Isolo, Niyi Obodo (Niyi Aderinoye)
Sati Ramon aka Omo Salawe aka Ibu Owo Oko Monica, Kunle Atoyegbe, Akindele Olohuntoyin, Demola Oyefeso, Akanni Gbenguse Gentleman, Bode De Way, Kuso Ferrari, Ago Guarantor, Femi Abiodun Lekuti (aka Danku Baba Imole).
Prince Bola Atobatele, Toyin Akindele Ikumoluyi (Ile Eru), Rilwan Aleshinloye, Tunde Borokinni, Wale Saubana Atanda Balogun, Wale Adeniyi Saubana, Goddy Anabor, Alumile Adedeji aka Ade Bendel .
Monsurat Chicago, Kayode Oduniyi aka Kay-Hanger, Dotun Aderibigbe aka Lobito, Jide Okunnu aka Oga Copperfield, Segun Alawaye, Ade Odutayo, Babatunde Onakoya aka Debasco, Wole Amodemaja, Tunde Oloko, Muhyideen Aileru, Kayode Lanihun.
Segun Awesu, Wale Awesu, Tayo Alakiu, Taye Adekanmbi, Olumide Abegunde etc. These people were hailed to no end by musicians but 99% of them are nowhere to be found today although almost all of them are alive.
If you are wealthy today, use it in the way of God not to showcase to musicians while members of your families and friends are dying of hunger. Tomorrow may not be as you expect, no condition is permanent. This worldly enjoyment is ephemeral and deceitful. A word is enough for the wise.
